INAKELL sound-absorbing panels are made of a fibrous, microporous material coated with a textile-like finish. Their specific molding increases the apparent surface area, giving the panel a high acoustic absorption coefficient and pleasing aesthetics.
They can be installed using traditional exposed profile methods, glued onto a grid of wooden battens, or even directly onto the wall. Installed as acoustic cladding on walls, INAKELL panels provide exceptional acoustic quality in spaces requiring a low reverberation time across the entire bandwidth. At low frequencies, they operate as a membrane resonator, controlling standing wave problems, and at medium and high frequencies, they act as a traditional dissipative absorber.
Acoustic panels are especially suitable as absorbent coverings for ceilings and walls in venues with high acoustic requirements, such as music, radio, and television production studios
